MTV's Tech Manager, George Eply, Finds Lenny Arm III and ATB Base Ideal
Orlando, Fl. Chapman's new ATB (All Terrain Base), along with the Lenny Arm III, is currently being used on MTV'S Sandblast. The new show is being filmed at Walt Disney World's "Fort Wilderness." Fifty episodes are scheduled to be filmed there. The theme is on outdoor sports activities and competition with a MTV twist. Teams are male and female competing in various water and beach sporting events. MTV is utilizing the base to move the arm through the sand. The Lenny Arm III has been used in its 40', 35', and 20' configurations. The ATB and Lenny Arm III has proved to be extremely versatile and has accommodated the various camera locations and setups throughout a normal shoot day. Tech manager, George Eply, has been very pleased with Chapman's crew and efforts to develop a unit that would compliment MTV's needs.

Chapman Busy With Fall Season
Orlando, Fl. Fortune Hunter will be wrapping up its final episode in November. Fortune Hunter, a new action-adventure series, filmed 13 episodes on Chapman's 9,000 square foot stage. The series is produced by BBK Productions based in Burbank, California and Orlando, Florida. Jan De Witt, BBK's Unit Production Manager, describes the relationship between the production crew and Chapman Stage as a perfect fit. "This is a first-class facility for our first-class production." Executive Producers, Frank Lupo and Carlton Cuse, along with Co-Executive Producers, Steve Aspis and Paul Stupin, utilized the facility for interior scenes, exterior scenes, set building and crew facilities. Negotiations are in the works with various networks to pick up the series.

Chapman / Leonard Studio Equipment has had a busy fall season with supplying Olympians to capture all the action for NFL and College Football for the various television and cable networks. Chapman's equipment has been busy working on episodics, feature films, commercials and award shows. Productions utilizing Chapman's wide range of camera support equipment include The Newz and Sea Quest, both shooting at Universal Studios Florida, To Wong Foo,Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar, starring Wesley Snipes and Patrick Swayze, Fortune Hunter, starring Mark Frankel, Disney's Christmas Promo, Edgewood Boys Ranch, Disney Testimonials and Dolly Parton's newest sitcom, Heavens to Betsy. Other productions include Point Man, Family Reunion, Bad with Numbers, and Batman Forever, starring Val Kilmer, Tommy Lee Jones, Jim Carrey and Nicole Kidman, directed by Joel Schumacher.
