An Avid Media Composer 8000 is now in our inventory.  This nonlinear editing system with the media film composer will make video and film editing more convenient for those clients who are shooting on stage.  Vaughn carries a complete line of video cameras and studio decks, like the Sony BVP-90's, BVW-400's and the DXC-537A's.   Ikegami cameras include the HL-V55 camcorders or the HC-340's. Sony PVW and BVW Betacam decks help round out our equipment.  Arri HMI Lighting is also available.   Some of our recent rentals included World Cup Soccer around the country, Equipment for Music Videos for the group, "Killer Bees", from Europe, NBC Rentals and Nickelodeon Studios, "My Brother and Me."  On stage rentals include equipment for a golf commercial with Cory Pavin. News from Continental Film Labs...My name is A.J. News from Herb Mandell Casting...The past few months have been extremely busy for the staff at Herb Mandell Casting. First was a job with Ivar Productions and Messner, Detere, Berger for A & W Root Beer's national commercial in which HMC cast three principal parts.  With August came the ABC Movie of the Week, "Family Reunion-A Relative Nightmare", filmed on location in Jacksonville. Many kids and a few adult local actors were cast in principal roles.  Four hundred Jacksonville residents were cast as extras.  On the heels of completion came three short promotional films for Disney in conjunction with Edgewater Productions of San Francisco.  Over 50 principal roles were cast and numerous extras were used in the six day shoot which took place at multiple Disney locations. Most recently, HMC completed casting a national commercial for National Car Rental, Production company, Bruce Dorn Films, along with Ad agency, W.B. Donor, shot the commercial in both Orlando and Los Angeles.  Five principal roles were cast, including two children.   Four of the principals were brought to LA to complete the commercial.  Call (407) 855-3400 for more information!
