Another accessory commonly used for comfort, as well as, stability are Chapman's Rader
Boards. Initially created for key grip, Rick Rader, these boards
allow the cameraman to position himself comfortably on the PeeWeeŽ dolly to film low
camera angles. This eliminates the cameraman from having to balance himself on
seats and seat offsets to achieve a low angle shot on the PeeWeeŽ dolly.
Chapman Rader Boards add to operator comfort
If production takes you to remote areas, then the PeeWeeŽ Carrying Bars are a must. The PeeWeeŽ Carrying Bars fit on the sides of the chassis like a normal side board. The extended bars add leverage thus making it easier to lift and move the dolly through rough terrains. These Carrying Bars also make it easier to have an extra person lend a helping hand, if necessary. Another accessory to aid in comfort during shots are our Swivel Seats. The Swivel Seat permits the cameraman to operate in a more comfortable manner. The standard seats slide forward and back on a seat arm. The swivel seat, while maintaining this function, additionally rotates 360 degrees, allowing better positioning behind the camera. The Swivel Seat is also available with a back support attachment. Swivel seats are a special accessory that need to be ordered in addition to the standard dolly package.
