For Your Information....
Lumiere Films back in Florida: Amy Lamb, Executive Producer of Pittsburgh-based Lumiere Films, says there are four good reasons to look into Chapman / Leonard: location, size, cost, and Chapman support equipment. Lumiere used the Orlando Stage for two sets in June: a boardroom and an office. While shooting Arnold Palmer in the cockpit of his jet for a PNC Bank promotion, Director/Cameraman, John Rice, rented the Hot Head and Lenny Arm to get necessary high overhead shots.
Vaughn Communications acquires Centercom: Vaughn Communications, Inc. recently acquired Milwaukee-based Centercom, marking its entry into the fast-growing Chicago market. The two companies will merge existing videotape duplicating services in Milwaukee and Tampa. Vaughn Communications is a national company specializing in non-theatrical high quality video tape duplication. It has nine manufacturing facilities and eight regional sales offices coast to coast.
Internships teach future filmmakers: Chapman has taken an active role in educating the filmmakers of tomorrow. In addition to the occasional school tours, Chapman has three interns at its Orlando Facility who not only work with Chapman personnel, but various other tenants and production companies on site. Chapman congratulates and supports the efforts of Sergio Villa, Patrice Lauzon and Tom Pelkowski. Keep up the good work!
