Orlando Stage refurbished for Fall shoots
Orlando, FL--In response
to increasing production activity in Central Florida, Chapman / Leonard's Studio &
Production Center has completed expansion of its new facility. A multi-functional
structure, the new building contains 13 bays, five of which will be used to house
Chapman's largest mobile cranes, the Titan II and Super Nova. The 11,000 sq. ft.
expansion promises to add space for production set building, storage, and rental space for
additional industry-related companies.
"This expansion will have a positive impact on Central Florida's entire film
community and will allow even more inventory to supply quality camera support to Florida's
future production projects," Office and Rental Manager, Anna Zaccardo said.
Rosebud Entertainment's new feature project, Vampire Wars, was filmed in October.
Other users included "She's Miss Perfect," Brooks Parson's music video
with the National Kidney Foundation; Saatchi & Saatchi's Southeast Toyota commercial;
Hardee's Middle Eastern campaign for the Frisco Sandwich; Altman-Procko's Office Depot
commercial with Arnold Palmer; a training seminar for Vaughn Broadcast; a Nike
advertisement featuring Orlando Magic Guard, Anfernee Hardaway; and a commercial by
AT&T.

Orlando stage facility gains new tenant
Orlando, FL--Chapman /
Leonard is pleased to welcome Max Entertainment to the Orlando
facility. David Lyons, the company's proprietor, is thrilled with his latest
project, III Town, a feature starring Isaac Hayes. Providing a broad range of
production resources that include locations, props, and communications, with emphasis on
computerized casting, Max Entertainment's next project is a television series focused on
entertainment and environmental issues.

Welcome Aboard
Chapman's East Facility
is proud to welcome Vermont native, Jim Weaver, to Titan maintenance. Jim says he
likes the shop because "it's complete and easy to work in." Nick Economos
is also new to the Orlando stage. The former Los Angeles sales associate now assists
the warehouse staff in dolly maintenance.

Your Information....
In our Summer 1995
issue, we introduced the new Hustler battery tray, but forgot to mention that the idea was
given to Chapman field representative, Hector Miranda, by Dolly Grip, Albert Ramos, during
the shooting of Steven Seagal's, On Deadly Ground, last year. The Hustler
tray has subsequently been named the "AR" battery tray after the person who gave
us the idea for this successful new accessory. Thanks again, Albert!
