Studio Upgrades Continue
Orlando, FL--Activity on stage is not limited to production--the facility, itself, continues to evolve and Chapman has turned its attention to the production offices and dressing rooms. To augment the current four-line roll-over phone system, a new line has been added for direct access to production's personal fax/modem. In response to clients' suggestions, Chapman installed ceramic-tiled showers in the dressing rooms and added 15 bays for Chapman's large mobile cranes. The bays can also serve as pre-production storage areas and as temporary production mill and workshop departments.

Sport ATB rolls through bowls
Tempe, AZ--Chapman's Sport ATB was a popular sideline item New Year's week, rolling into arenas across the country for college football's season-ending bowl games. Chapman Orlando proved to be a convenient location, sending ATBs to cover the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando, the Orange and Carquest Bowls in Miami, the Outback Bowl in Tampa, and the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans. Chapman/LA supplied an ATB for the "granddaddy of 'em all"--the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, which drew over 100,000 fans and the largest TV audience in the bowl's rich history.
But the ATB's biggest gridiron exposure yet came at the national championship game, Jan.2, where nearly 80,000 fans and a national television audience saw No. 1-ranked Nebraska blow out No. 2-ranked Florida, 62-24, at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe.
The Sport ATB was also used for the NFL's wild card and playoff games, including NBC's coverage of the AFC championship game in Pittsburgh and Fox Network's coverage of the NFC championship game in Dallas. The Sport ATB returned to Tempe Jan 28 for the biggest bowl game of the year--Super Bowl XXX, where the NFC champion, Dallas Cowboys, meet the AFC champion, Pittsburgh Steelers on NBC.
