Return | Newsletter Back Issues | Previous | Next MULTI-PURPOSE EQUIPMENT TRAILER Transportation is made even easier thanks to Chapman's equipment trailers, capable of hauling the Zeus, Olympian, Electra, and Sidewinder Stage Cranes, the CS, and ATB Base. Available upon request, the trailers come in two sizes.  The smaller trailer is 16 feet long and five feet wide. The larger trailer spans 18 feet in length and six feet in width. Trailers come complete with wheel ramps, designed to roll the cranes and bases safely to ground level. Restraint ropes are used to tie and secure equipment for safer travel. Orlando Studio & Production Center: Update Stage Activity Orlando, FL--Chapman/Leonard Studios & Production Center hosted Renaissance Films and Busch Entertainment Corporation for the filming of a pre-show reel for "King Arthur's Challenge,"a brand new simulation ride at Busch Gardens of Williamsburg, Virginia. Renaissance Entertainment was pleased with the result, particularly the cooperative support of Central Florida Film and Tape, Cinnabar, Panavision Florida, and Continental Film Lab. On a set beautifully designed as Merlin's secret lair, the shoot featured a large trained owl which swooped through the air on cue.  Special camera movement was accomplished by mounting the Chapman/Leonard Lenny Arm Plus on the newly-developed CS Base. Pre-Production facilities now available at Chapman Orlando Orlando, FL--Chapman / Leonard Studios & Production Center now offers a new service for production companies shooting in Central Florida: short-term production office rental. In response to many requests for office facilities from production companies looking for a safe "home-away-from-home" while in pre-production or shooting on location, Chapman Florida is offering a 250 square foot Pre-Production Office that provides all the amenities necessary to keep production rolling administratively. The offices are comfortable, fully furnished, and air-conditioned with 24-hour access. In addition, there are three incoming roll-over telephone lines, voice mail, copy and fax machines, security system, shipping and notary services. In-house lighting, grip, camera, and duplication services, as well as, an in-house Avid system, with no gates or tourist traffic, are available.
