New Accessories

Chapman's popular Pedolly® Pedestals now come equipped with a vibration isolator which greatly reduces jarring of the unit caused by uneven ground.

The low profile isolator (ISOVIB) fits on top of the pedestal between the adapter plate and head and attaches by way of a center bolt.  The square-shaped isolator uses double action dampeners to absorb shock and stop swaying motion.  The low profile isolator can be used on any of Chapman's equipment.

"The dampeners contain a special fluid which allows the shock absorber to move freely," explains Jason Sutton of Chapman's Pedolly Department.

Scissor tubular aluminum 880 mm (34 1/2")-code # 1071, track is now available for use with Chapman's CS Base.  The 880 mm straight aluminum track comes in 12 foot sections and enables the CS Base to roll smoothly over uneven surfaces.  The 880 mm aluminum track also comes with 33" long starter ramps to roll the base up onto the track.  The advantage of this scissor track is to allow for easier storage and transportation.  For more information on all our products, please call one of our representatives at (888) 88 DOLLY.

Busy Summer for Chapman's Orlando Stage

Orlando, FL-While many claim that winter is the strongest season in Florida, they couldn't prove it from Chapman's stage activity this summer. Boasting the highest grossing July since the stage opened, Chapman / Leonard's Orlando Stage earnings at the end of the third quarter have eclipsed total stage earning for 1995. Chapman Studio Director of Operations, Peg O'Keef, comments, "We are witnessing the culmination of four years of reputation building. Many of Chapman's stage clients are returning for the second, third, or fourth time. Folks are realizing that they can get all the support they need right here. Also, local crews are seasoned and top-notch."

Among recent clients at Chapman/Leonard's 9,000 square foot sound stage facility are Dream Quest Films, C.B. and Reid, Sailor Productions, Video & Photographic Services, Prime Time Sports, Zoom Productions, and Sputnik Films.

The sound stage will be incorporating a new lighting system from Desisti sometime in the later part of the year...this system will feature an automated cable hoisting system, along with CYC lighting and dimmer board system.
