Preview on the New 'Dual Wheel'
Setup for the CS Base
The CS Base now has a
'dual wheel' system available to enhance steering capabilities, add rigidity, and give
smoother rolling movement while adding more security. The dual wheel system allows
the CS Base's wheels to rotate independently from each other, while incorporating new
tires with the ability to change tire pressure from 7 psi to 100 psi. Lower tire
pressure allows easier movement over rough terrain, such as rocks, sand and grass.
Higher pressure enables smoother rolling of heavier loads over even terrain.
Additionally, the second tire adds safety in the event of sudden tire pressure loss.
For more information or a demonstration of our new split-wheel system, please contact one
of our representatives at (888) DOLLY.

Introducing the LenCin®-Chapman/Leonard's Tri-Based Pedestal
Chapman / Leonard Studio Equipment is proud to announce its new studio pedestal, the
LenCin®. Perfect for talk shows, soap operas, news room coverage, sporting events,
and many more indoor or outdoor productions. This triangular-shaped base
incorporates some of the innovative features of its predecessor, the Pedolly®.
Continued research and development has now provided dramatically improved 4-stage column
rigidity. This new column interchanges between the Pedolly and the LenCin. The
LenCin features crab or conventional steering, virtually silent operation and a variety of
tires to accommodate many ground and floor conditions.
The LenCin can fit through a standard 36" door and can be used on track without
adding or changing the wheels. The LenCin is available with 28" (center to
center) straight or curved track. The LenCin has a minimum camera mount height of 17
3/4" (45 cm) and maximum mount height of 56 3/4" (1.4 m). The LenCin has a
28 3/8" turning radius, 39" (99 cm) of vertical travel, a large steering wheel
for increased leverage and an optional cam lock that allows the operator to lock the
column at any height. The column detaches from the chassis for easier transportation and
maintenance. The column can be used independently from the chassis. The detachable
column reduces the carrying weight to 177 lbs. (81 kg). Extensive in-field testing
and retesting provides confidence as to the LenCin's user-friendly characteristics.
